What Has Happened To Customer Service? The customer is always right; or at least she used to be. It is becoming more apparent that businesses have lost
focus on this important principle and in these trying economic times, it just doesn’t make any sense. Think
of how often you have repeatedly been put on hold only to later be transferred to a customer service rep that is not the least
bit enthused to help you. Think of the times that you were forced to deal with a rude receptionist whose vocabulary doesn’t
include the words “please” or “thank you”. I’m willing to bet at some point that you
have been promised a call back only to find yourself hunting down the appointment setter for confirmation. Accountability
is another virtue commonly lost in the marketplace. When there is a problem with a product or service, it should be the responsibility
of the business to correct the issue. Too often we see blame placed back on the customer as businesses “wash their hands”
of the problem. These are just a few examples of the poor customer care experienced everyday by frustrated patrons. What has happened to customer service? Customer satisfaction? One would think that companies
would be thrilled with the sight of customers and not annoyed by having to perform basic job functions. Consumers should always
receive full attention and priority. After all, without them, the marketplace could not exist! This simple and easy to understand
philosophy has somehow been forgotten. Now this is not to say that all businesses have lost sight
of these virtues. You can still discover excellent customer service if you refuse to settle for less. At Total
Concepts Hair by Kristina, we make customer service a top priority. We do believe the client is always right.
We are happy to have your business. We will take responsibility for any reason a customer may be unhappy
and we will work expeditiously to correct the issue, ensuring customer fulfillment. We take pride in our craft and
treat each client with the full attention and respect that they deserve. This is why we often encourage spirited dialogue
between clients and stylists; to achieve total customer satisfaction. Why settle for less?
